Background
CD2 Learning has been honored to partner with the LEARN Behavioral team since 2020. When we began our partnership, the primary goals for the LEARN Behavioral team were to (1) scale onboarding for all employees and (2) automate strict compliance requirements mandated within each of the states they serve. They were seeking a robust and flexible solution that is able to deliver detailed reporting to various stakeholders who are regularly asked to respond to compliance audits.

Multi-Layer Organizational Mapping
Because of the unique requirements that are mandated by each state, it was crucial that we mapped out a multi-layer organizational group structure. We mapped out a structure that split the site into three primary divisions, then sectioned those into territories, and then divided each of those into individual site locations. This structure provided reporting flexibility and training automation opportunities to adhere to each unique requirement.
Course Authoring Tools
The LEARN Behavioral instructors quickly became experts in CD2 Leaning’s course authoring tools. Their team started with employee onboarding and established course templates that aligned to each of their core functional roles. These templates were then leveraged to build each of the state-specific onboarding packages. Using this strategy, they found that often 80% of the training was consistent. They were able to align to individual state requirements largely by editing what was already there, rather than build from scratch each time.
